Sum'it Up

Lethbridge multimedia artist, writer and publisher,
Marlene Lacey
has been spending much of the summer in her
garden, creating handmade paper and garden sculptures, and scouting and
photographing Lethbridge sites listed by the Allied Arts Council for
artists. To end the summer, she is hosting a multimedia event in
her backyard—"Sum'it Up",
a summer media event comprised of one summer evening, Sum' Friday Evening,
on Friday August 20th, and one summer Saturday afternoon, Sum'
Saturday Afternoon, the following August afternoon on the 21st.

7:30–9:30 p.m.
Saskatchewan author/publisher,
Glen Sorestad is the featured reader. He will be introduced by
Ontario poet and teacher,
Bruce Hunter. Honoured Guests: Calgary Alberta peace
activist/professor emeritus,
Larry
Fisk, and Nova Scotia artist and author,
Regina
Coupar. Host: Marlene Lacey.
Sum' Saturday Afternoon:
August 21, 2004
1:30–4:30 p.m.
Snack and yak: drinks and muffins available along with the
opportunity to talk and meet these five Canadian artists and view their
work where they present such items as books, cards, raku, garden
sculptures, handmade paper and computer multimedia.
